constructionの意味・語源・覚え方

constructionの意味は「建設」です。

constructionの語源は、con (together ; 共に) + struct (build ; 建てる) + -tion (-するもの)、です

語源 struct (build)は、structure (構造) = struct (build) + -ture (-するもの) = 構築するもの、から連想できます

constructionの覚え方は、「協力して共に(con)建てる(struct)もの(-ion) = 建設」というイメージで覚えましょう。
