enthusiasticの意味は「熱狂的な」です。

enthusiasticの語源は、en (in ; 〜の中へ) + thu (the ; god ; 神) + -ist (〜する人) + -ic (-のような)、です

語源 the (god)は、pantheon (パンテオン) = pan (all) + the (god) + -on (-するところ) = 全ての神を司るところ、から連想できます

enthusiasticの覚え方は、「神(thu)がかっている(en)人(-ist)のような(-ic) = 熱狂的な」というイメージで覚えましょう。
